Begin by sightseeing your way across the Canterbury Plains towards the foothills of the Southern Alps. Transfer to your Jetboat for an exhilirating 45 minute ride on one of New Zealand's most spectacular rivers, the Waimakariri River. A special 4WD vehicle takes you onto one of the region's large (10,000 acres) High Country Farms. Enjoy incredible alpine scenery, an exciting 4WD experience, and learn about farming in this beautiful environment. Lunch at a typical country cafe, before your coach returns you to Christchurch and your accommodation.

Sightsee your way by coach across the Canterbury Plains to the Waimakariri River Gorge, where you will enjoy a 45 minute Jetboat ride on one of New Zealand's most spectacular rivers. A purpose-built 4WD vehicle will then take you through Mt Torlesse Station, a 10,000 acre working sheep & beef farm, set amongst some of the most incredible alpine scenery. After lunch in a country cafe, you travel further into the mountains, to the township of Arthurs Pass, at the edge of Arthurs Pass National Park. From here, board the Tranz Alpine Train (recognised world wide as one of the "Top 10 Train Journeys of the World") relax and enjoy your journey back to Christchurch. You will be collected from the train at the Christchurch Railway Station, and returned to your accommodation.
