ABOUT US  -  THE PEOPLE

Our greatest asset is, of course, our people.

The company is owned and operated by Graham (Goldie) Mason and John Pugh. Goldie and John have a very 'hands on' approach to their business, working on a daily basis beside their carefully selected drivers, to ensure your expectations are exceeded, and magical memories created.

GOLDIE MASON

Goldie is your personalised chauffeur tour driver. A born and bred Cantabrian, Goldies' ancestors braved the high seas to make their home in New Zealand in 1850. An avid traveller himself, Goldie will make your stay in Christchurch and the Canterbury region, a visit to remember. His experience as a Tour Coach Operator and Driver over a period of nearly 40 years ensures a multitude of local history, facts and figures on all facets of life in this country he is proud to call "Home".

His many travels may have even taken him to your home country and this allows him to relate and provide for his passengers in a knowledgeable and informative way. Himself a former Rugby player, he maintains his interests in all sports although his leisure pursuits are now somewhat less robust, and include walking, wining and dining, and because of his farming background, all things associated with the land.

JOHN PUGH

Christchurch is John's home town, and although having lived in a variety of New Zealand areas, he keeps returning to Christchurch. His family have lived here since 1858, and the next generation seem to like it here too.

John has been in the passenger and tourism industries since 1980, and has walked-the-walk, from washing coaches, through driving and Operation of Tour Coaches, to starting his own bus company. He loves reading (real books) but will often settle for the computer keeping him abreast of the changes in the world. This knowledge helps him relate, and to relay or discuss items and issues of New Zealand life.

He and his wife Loretta own a small block of farm land where they can relax and involve themselves with farming endeavours.

John is very proud of his Country, his Province, and his City, and he enjoys showing people why. Bring your camera of course, but bring the questions too, he loves the involvement.

OUR DRIVERS

Our drivers have been carefully selected and trained in our philosophy of service. They are professional in performance of their duties, have the skills to drive in all weather and road conditions, and have an extensive knowledge of New Zealand.
