Why not include sightseeing with your transfer to/from the Airport!

You can book your tour to begin at a time that suits you or your activities, however some time-conscious activities during the sightseeing tours (for example Penguin Feeding at The International Antarctic Centre) may require a little compromise and flexibility.

For those with 3 or 4 hours available, we would suggest a tour of the central city area, including both the Anglican and Roman Catholic Cathedrals, continuing to a hillside vantage point overlooking the city and the Canterbury Plains behind it.

Drive through beautifully presented suburbs to the multi-award winning International Antarctic Centre, for the best interactive Antarctic experience outside of the Antarctic Continent.

Willowbank Wildlife Reserve could be visited next, perhaps a small break for tea/coffee, and to view the kiwis close up. Return to the central city for a relaxing Punting Cruise along the Avon River, or perhaps a ride on the restored Trams.

Do you have more time to spend?

In addition to the International Antarctic Centre and Willowbank Wildlife Reserve, touring the Port Hills and Lyttelton Harbour will give the best views of Christchurch and the surrounding areas. Include the Gondola up to Mt Cavendish, have lunch in the restaurant at the top, or take in the History Time Tunnel and the panoramic 360 degree views. We can spend time in public gardens (Christchurch is one of the noted Garden Cities of the world) afternoon tea in the Botanic Gardens or at an Historic Homestead, and walk through the central city Arts Centre.

As always, the enjoyment of views and activities is sometimes modified by the weather.
